Lamar Elementary is located in a very low income part of the city. Most students do not have the same luxuries as other students that may attend schools such as Fowler, or West Foundation. Mr. Taylor gives each student equal attention and opportunity. He spreads positivity to each student to ensure they are getting the best education and schooling experience, despite their home life situations. He gives his entire heart to the classroom, and makes sure the children have the tools they need to succeed while generating smiles on their faces each day. Mr. Taylor is your ideal teacher as far as positive impact on the kids all while making sure they are actually harvesting the information taught to them. He is truly one in a million!
